He was born in 1980 in Ankara. He graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Electrical and Electronics in 2003. In the same year, he started his PhD integrated programme as a research assistant at the University of Rochester Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He worked on the design of a scalable communication network infrastructure for next generation tactical radios. He received his MSc and PhD degrees from the University of Rochester in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He has been working for 15 years at Aselsan as Systems Engineering Director in the Communication and Information Technologies sector.
