Mr. Tom Lusco is a systems engineering professional with more than 30 years of experience in systems engineering and the application of standards to technical development. He is a core member of the evolution and maintenance team supporting the Architecture Reference for Cooperative and Intelligent Transportation (ARC-IT, www.arc-it.org). He has more than 10 years of experience in harmonization and standards development activities. He collaborates with a team of international experts to develop the mechanisms for the ITS reference architecture (ARC-IT) to reference standards in such a way as to provide standards guidance to the users of ITS architecture products and tools. He is heavily involved in the development of reference architecture for ITS and smart cities, and participates regularly in standards developments in ITS, vehicle connectivity, cybersecurity and smart cities.
