SUMMITS’22 3rd International Intelligent Transportation Systems Summit
Although Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is considered as an area under smart urbanization, it has an important place as a sector on its own. The International ITS Summit was launched in 2019 with the aim of developing ITS sector in Türkiye, share international experiences, move the sector forward by creating synergy and create a good example of interoperability, which is a requirement for ITS, by realizing these factors not only within the country but also with foreign stakeholders. The ITS summit, which started in 2020 under the name of SUMMITS, could not be organized in 2021 due to the pandemic, but was organized for the third time on March 9-10, 2022 with the motto “Shaping the Future of Transportation”.
The progress made from 2019 to 2022 in summits can be easily recognized from the number of participants in the summits. SUMMITS which is planned to be annually held in March has been one of the most attractive organization of the ITS sector with its content, number of participants and social events.
