President of Association of My Rights in Traffic

Yasemin Usta, who was born in 1985 in İstanbul, holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Balıkesir University Vocational School, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Istanbul University, an Associate's Degree in Justice, a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Anadolu University. She is currently working for her thesis in the master’s program at Marmara University, Marketing Department and also pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a 100% scholarship at Istanbul Kültür University, International Trade and Finance Department.

Usta, who gained her professional work experience as a marketing specialist and product manager in the private sector, took active roles in many social communities and non-governmental organizations in addition to her education and business life. She has worked as a volunteer in the field of children's rights and disability rights for a long time and she is also the guardian of a teenager who is under the protection of the state.

After his cousin Gökhan Demir lost his life in a car accident in 2012, she left her job to pay strict attention to the legal proceedings. She observed the difficulties that traffic victims face during this time. She founded the Association of My Rights in Traffic on May 6, 2015, with the intention of preventing the losses of rights and lives in traffic.
