Serhat Melik has been working in TÜBİTAK since 2010 and acting as National Contact Point (NCP) for Cluster 5: Climate, Energy & Mobility and NCP for EU Missions in Horizon Europe Programme for Türkiye.

Serhat Melik was graduated from Middle East Technical University Department of Civil Engineering in Türkiye, in 2007 and got a master’s degree in the same department. He has been working in The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye (TÜBİTAK) EU Framework Programmes National Coordination Office as a National Contact Point for Transport in Turkiye since 2010. He is also representing Turkiye in Horizon Europe Programme Committee Meetings. He is providing support to Turkish organizations to find relevant partners for their proposals, organizing brokerage events (matchmaking events) to bring together Turkish and European Research Area Stakeholders. He has been involved in many Horizon Europe CSA and Co-fund Projects representing the national funding agency (TÜBİTAK).
